Jersey-born Wendy Lynn Decker is an award-winning author who turns ordinary chaos into compelling stories, weaving humor, heart, faith, and hard truths into fiction that speaks to both young adult and adult readers. She is the Author of Sweet Tea, a Novel inspired by true events, growing up with a single parent afflicted with schizophrenia, and The Bedazzling Bowl, an award-winning, faith-based chapter book. Her latest novel, Whispers of Sea Glass, is a gripping coming-of-age mystery set in 1958, Asbury Park, New Jersey. 

Wendy is an advocate and speaker on mental health awareness and a former adjunct professor. She's taught English Composition around the world while underway aboard Navy destroyers as well as at local community colleges. When Wendy isn’t writing, you can find her strutting down the boardwalk in her Aetrex sneakers or singing at a local beach establishment for food and/or tips.
